The highway overpass crossing the tracks immediately west of the west end of Larchwood siding. The Cartier subdivions was once double tracked all the way from Romford to Cartier, but was single tracked for most of the distance between Sudbury and Cartier when CTC was installed in the late 1960s. The extra width of the roadbed to the right of the tracks provides a clear reminder of the removed second track.
