CP 264187 is a pretty typical example of one of CP’s typical 10’6″ interior height 40′ boxcars with 8′ doors. The wide 8′ doors made these cars especially desirable for loading woodpulp and newsprint, and many of CP’s 8′ door cars were assigned to newsprint service and given special markings to indicate their restricted service.
