This new SP covered hopper got some heavy weathering and patches for the reporting marks and data.
According to information we got from an INCO employee that used to work in the shipping department in the 1970s, INCO at one point was sourcing petroleum coke from the Union Oil Co in Callender, California. The loads were shipped in grimy SP covered hoppers, which allowed us to have some fun weathering this model of SP 401338.
