The in-progress Wahnapitei helix is at right, behind the stairs leading to the next level. Coming into the helix from the left is the ramp track from Coniston to the west end of Wanapitei that does a single turn around the helix to reverse direction. The actual helix itself joins the east end of Wanapitei (lower level on the other side of the still open wall) to Stinson (upper level above Wanapitei). A train heading east from Sudbury would first travers the ramp, pass through the scene at Wanapitei and then head up through the helix to Stinson. Stinson is the first siding on the layout east of the end of double track at Romford where it is possible to pass a full length 50 car train.
