McKerrow

Mileage 42.1 CP Webbwood Subdivision / Mileage 0.0 CP Little Current Subdivision

Formerly CPR Espanola, this location was a junction and interchange with the Algoma Eastern Railway. When the CPR took control of the AER in 1930, CPR Espanola was renamed McKerrow, as the AER served Espanola directly and AER Espanola become CPR Espanola. McKerrow is still the junction of the CPR Webbwood subdivision and what remains of the (former Algoma Eastern) Little Current subdivision, which today only runs the approximately two miles to Espanola to serve the pulp mill there.

A few miles east of McKerrow, the CP and Trans-Canada Highway 17 cross the Spanish River.
