This new cabinet under Sudbury yard will contain the DCC command station and associated power supplies on the left side, and on the right, various block detection and related circuitry for the signalling system will be installed. This new electrical cabinet moves several components into a single location allowing some of the wiring below the layout to be cleaned up. Some of the older original wiring is being replaced as we go for improved reliability and organization. (Sudbury yard is nearing completion of an almost complete rewiring.) All of the main power feeders for the layout will begin in this cabinet.
