96 at Nairn

CP GP35 5006 and RS10 8464 lead a short local train of mostly woodchip gondolas and paper service boxcars through Nairn. Along with Sudbury’s trademark nickel ore trains, lumber and paper traffic is a signature of northern Ontario railroading.

The layout shelf is scarcely 12″ wide at this point; this shot shows the entire width of the scene at the crossing.
