Mileage 102.5 CP Cartier Subdivision

Levack is the site of a long passing siding and junction with the INCO Levack Mine spur which until the 1990s was still operated with INCO electric engines. Levack was also the junction with Falconbridge’s Hardy Mine spur, serving a couple of mines and mills which shipped nickel concentrate to the smelter at Falconbridge. The Hardy mine spur was abandoned after Falconbridge switched to using trucks to ship concentrate from Strathcona Mill to the smelter..
